SUSPENDED LICENSE
If you are making an online payment for a ticket that has suspended your driver’s license, it will not be reinstated until:
- The disposed ticket’s bond amount has been paid in full.
- The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) has received the Notice of Withdrawal of Suspension (DL-53). It is your responsibility to contact the Pine Ridge Clerk of Court to obtain the Notice of Withdrawal of Suspension (DL-53). These will not be faxed.
- Pay any associated reinstatement fees to the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
PROOF
Proof of Insurance, Driver’s License, or Registration MUST be provided prior to or during the scheduled court date and time. The court cannot dismiss the charge without the officer’s approval. Proof WILL NOT be accepted after your scheduled court date and time.
MANDATORY COURT APPEARANCE
Your mandatory court appearance is still required for certain charges. Payment of fines before your court date and time does not excuse anyone of any mandatory court appearance. Please see your charging document (uniform traffic ticket, warrant or bond paperwork) to verify if your appearance is required.
No partial payments will be accepted online.
Payment of the amount indicated on citations does not affect your right to appear in court as scheduled for plea or trial, or to request a jury trial in writing on or before your scheduled court date. If you have any other questions, please contact Pine Ridge Municipal Court and request to speak with the Clerk of Court, Brittany Burns, PRIOR to making your payment online.
I have read and accept this disclaimer and responsibility for the use of this information.
